Community Groups are an essential part of our journey and are open to everyone, irrespective of whether or not you attend Sunday morning church service.
At the Gate Church Community we believe it is our friendships, and the sense of belonging people experience in our community, that will influence much of our discipleship journey. We dream of a community centred around Jesus where all feel welcome, no matter what our starting points are!
We have a wide variety of groups. Some focus on helping schools, neighbourhoods or youth centres. Others are women's groups or men's groups. Some do in-depth study of the Bible. All groups explore the teachings of Jesus and what that means for our lives and wider community. Most groups meet at least 3 times a month, many in homes, some in public spaces and most times food and laughter is part of the equation! If you would like to visit one, see our ‘Find a Group’ section and we’ll guide you in that process.
If you already have a group of friends that practice many of these same characteristics and you would like to join us as a group, we’re open to that! Just use the contact form and our community groups coach will connect with you.

- Thursday Evening Youth Drop-In – 6:00pm – 9:15pm
- Friday Night 'Pizza & Bible' Group at Drop-In – 6:30pm – 9:30pm
