SUMMER IS HERE!

Summer-time means out-door playtime! There are programs for kids and a weekly Neighbourhood Watermelon Night for the whole family!

'Jazzy July' Summer Day Camp – Do you have a child between the ages of 5-11, lives in the Betty Gibson School Neighbourhood, and wants to enjoy the summer? Our fantastic staff of energetic and responsible teens are running an activity program at the Alexandra Community Gardens (across from Betty Gibson School) from 1:30-4:00pm July 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24!

Watermelon Nights – Every Wednesday night of July and August, families of the Betty Gibson School Neighbourhood are invited to the Betty Gibson School Grounds from 6:30-8:00 to hang-out, visit, eat watermelon, & even play soccer! This is a great way to have some fun and connect with others in the community.

Betty Gibson Area 'Jazzy July' Summer Activities Program!

In July, The Gate Church Community is running a summer program in the Betty Gibson Area! Kids from the ages 5-12 will be enjoying a summer full of fun activities ranging from low-organized games to fun art activities to cool science experiments and even some fun soccer activities. This will happen Monday – Wednesday afternoons 1:30-4:00 on July 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24! There will be a snack time, kids should be encouraged to bring their own snacks, but healthy snacks will be provided. Check out 'Jazzy July' on Facebook to see pics from last year!

There will be 30 spots available and the program is free!

Summer Neighbourhood Watermelon Nights & drop-in Soccer (July and August)

Each Wednesday Night of the summer, The Gate Church Community is inviting the neighbourhood to hang-out, eat watermelon, visit, and even play soccer together on the school grounds! Bring your family, a lawn-chair, bug spray, and a smile! It runs from 6:30 – 8:00. Hope to see several kids and adults out!
